- Happy Socks have collaborated with an unlikely partner for what is a homage to Royal Enfield. The Enfield Cycle Company made motorcycles, bicycles, lawnmowers and stationary engines under the name Royal Enfield out of its works based at Redditch, Worcestershire, England. Use of the brand name Royal Enfield was licenced by the Crown in 1890. Starting in 1949, Royal Enfield was being sold in India and the Indian government chose The Bullet as the most suitable bike for its police and army forces. To produce the enormous order, Royal Enfield partnered with Madras Motors who came to own 50% of Royal Enfield. When production in England ceased in 1970, the Bullet 350 continued to be manufactured in India. Finally in 1994, Enfield India became, Royal Enfield.
